Terms of Use
Effective January 1, 2025 | Last updated September 9, 2026
These terms apply whenever you access, register for, browse, post, report, save, share or otherwise use COOSOU local information services. Read and understand these rules before posting or contacting others.
Important: the platform does not take part in offline transactions, payments, performance of agreements, transport, repairs, rentals, employment, after-sales service or dispute resolution.
Scope of service
- COOSOU provides local listings, browsing, search, account management, saved items, sharing, reporting and basic content moderation.
- The platform displays local information and connects people; it does not directly participate in users’ offline transactions, payments, performance of agreements, transport, repairs, rentals, employment, after-sales service or dispute resolution.
Accounts and posting
- Use accurate information through which you can be contacted when registering, signing in and posting, and keep your account credentials secure.
- Housing, second-hand goods, jobs, ridesharing, pets and business service listings must have accurate titles, descriptions, prices, images, areas, contact details and transaction terms.
- Do not impersonate others or post listings with unusable contact details, deliberately misleading information or clearly outdated information.
Google and other third-party sign-in
- COOSOU may offer Google and other third-party sign-in options.
- When you use them, the authentication service receives the basic identity information needed to sign you in within the permissions you grant that third party, and uses it to create or identify your COOSOU account.
- COOSOU does not receive your Google password; basic Google sign-in does not read Gmail, Google Contacts, Google Drive or Google Calendar content.
- A third-party sign-in option may become temporarily unavailable if the provider is interrupted, your account is restricted or authorization is revoked.
- You must also comply with that provider’s terms and policies.
Use by minors
- Minors should use the platform under the guidance of a parent or legal guardian.
- They should not independently arrange offline transactions, rentals, job applications or ridesharing, or give strangers contact details, home addresses, identity documents or payment information.
- If a safety risk involving a minor is identified, the platform may prioritize restricting visibility and retain necessary records.
Prohibited content
- Do not post content involving illegality, fraud, harassment, discrimination, hate, pornography, gambling, illegal lending, fake jobs, pyramid schemes, malicious diversion to external channels, impersonation of official accounts, privacy or intellectual property violations, inducements to make high-risk offline payments, or attempts to evade moderation.
- Do not upload images containing someone else’s identity documents, sensitive personal information, unauthorized photos or misleading screenshots.
Review and visibility
- The platform may restrict visibility, request edits, hide, take down or delete content, or preserve evidence, based on automated rules, user reports, manual review or operating policies.
- It does not guarantee immediate display of every post or detection of every risk.
- Do not evade review through duplicate posts, altered titles, abnormal accounts or external redirects.
Transactions and offline safety
- Verify the other party’s identity, item condition, housing authenticity, employer information, business credentials, quotations, payment methods and contract terms yourself.
- Meet in public places where possible and avoid paying deposits, gift cards, cryptocurrency or other unrecoverable amounts in advance.
- The parties to a transaction are responsible for all offline transactions, payments, transport, service outcomes and disputes.
Business information
- Businesses must provide accurate and lawful names, addresses, phone numbers, WeChat details, hours, images, service areas, pricing explanations and credentials.
- Do not fabricate reviews, impersonate another business, invent service capabilities or post content unrelated to actual operations.
- The platform may mark information as pending review, suspend its display or remove it.
Reports and handling
- You may report false information, fraud, harassment, illegal content, incorrect business information, intellectual property violations or high-risk transactions.
- The platform handles reports using the information submitted, system records, risk controls and human judgment, without promising immediate resolution of every dispute.
- Malicious reports, mass harassment or false evidence may also result in account restrictions.
Intellectual property and permission
- Before posting text, images, trademarks, logos, shop photos or other materials, confirm that you hold the relevant rights or have permission.
- You grant COOSOU the non-exclusive rights necessary to display, search, recommend, review, back up and operate that content on the platform.
- Rights holders who believe content infringes their rights may request action through the contact or reporting channels.
Privacy and data
- The platform processes account details, basic third-party sign-in identity information, contact details, posts, device and access records, reports and security data under its Privacy Policy.
- Do not publish identity documents, full addresses, bank card details, passwords, verification codes, sensitive information about minors or another person’s private information.
- After an account or content is deleted, records needed for legal compliance, security audits and dispute handling may be retained as required.
Limitations of responsibility
- COOSOU works to maintain information quality and platform safety, but does not guarantee that all user posts are wholly accurate, complete, current, continuously valid or suitable for a particular purpose.
- Losses arising from users’ own transactions, reliance on third-party information, offline services, payment arrangements, contractual performance, force majeure, third-party systems or network issues are the responsibility of the relevant participants under applicable law.
Account restrictions and service changes
- If a user violates these terms, applicable law or platform rules, or presents a safety risk, the platform may issue reminders, restrict posting, hide or remove content, suspend an account, refuse service or reserve the right to take further action.
- Features, cities, categories, review rules and display methods may change with the product’s stage of development, while core services will be kept reasonably stable.
Free services and transaction availability
- COOSOU’s public core services are entirely free, including browsing, posting local information and on-site messaging.
- The traditional standalone business onboarding interface is no longer open.
- The platform does not provide on-site orders, payments, bookings or payment collection, and the current pages do not request subscriptions or payments.
- Participants remain responsible for verifying and carrying out offline transactions, payments and agreements.
Platform operation and contact
- COOSOU provides a convenient platform for local Chinese communities to share information and communicate, helping people find local information, services and businesses.
- For questions about using the platform, content feedback, reports or personal data, use the channels listed on the Contact Us page.
Applicable law and disputes
- This service displays local information for users in the United States.
- Relevant rights and obligations are governed by applicable United States federal law and Nevada law within their jurisdiction.
- In a dispute, the parties should first provide facts and evidence through the contact page and attempt an amicable resolution.
- If this is unsuccessful, they may seek resolution from an authority or court with jurisdiction under applicable law.
These terms may change as product features, legal requirements and operating rules change. Continuing to use COOSOU means you understand and accept the updated rules.
